Milestones in our mission to empower communities
MIKEDA was officially founded and registered, subsequently launching its first health promotion programs that reached 50 young women in Migori County.
Expanded to Homabay County and formed strategic partnerships with Lwala Community Alliance and Rising Africa.
Launched the Tobacco-Free Farms campaign and implemented 26 climate-resilient agricultural projects.
Introduced Teen4Teen mentorship program and reached over 500 adolescents with mental health support.
Expanded to Kisumu County and received multiple awards for our comprehensive approach to youth empowerment.
